AHLEM’s Bauhaus Temple Tip

One of our favorite brands AHLEM, available at ClérigosIN, has a new design on the temples, inspired by the Bauhaus. Bauhaus was an art school founded in 1919 by the architect Walter Gropius, in Weimar, Germany. He revolutionized modern design by looking for simplified shapes and lines, defined by the object’s function -… a “clean” look, which you find today in various places.

Introducing AHLEM’s Bauhaus Temple Tip, an evolution of our classic end piece, now featuring sleek metal construction and hand-painted details.

The latest design draws inspiration from the triangular and circular shapes found on the metal components on our acetate silhouettes. This forges a bond between our acetate and metal collection. The metal detailing is evocative of iconic Bauhaus shapes, creating a unique piece of art for the wearer. Each temple tip is hand-painted in tones of burgundy, navy blue, or green.
